Maja Mikić is born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia in 1984. She is mathematics and financial engineering master becoming an 18-year experienced banking professional, that has been spending most of her career working in Societe Generale Group across different geographies. Starting from IT department as a developer and later DataBase administrator, she has been combining mathematical, IT and economy skills to build career across the Finance, Risk management and Digital transformation executive functions. Financial management encompassed financial, management accounting, ALM, financial markets, custody management. Risk management function significance was growing steadily over the 9 years, where she had been covering exhaustive scope from credit risk, recovery, market and operational risk. Since 2015, she is living and working in Bucharest, Romania in BRD bank – Romanian subsidiary of Societe Generale. In the last 4 years Maja is in charge of Digital Transformation in BRD, on strategic and delivery management level. Apart from the bank, she participates on regular basis competitions in the Machine learning as a model developer, where she covered large span of the predictive, interpretation and AI generating models in the fields of finance, medicine, cyber security and electro engineering.

She is member of two national committees of CIOs and cyber security experts.

Since the beginning of 2025, she is appointed board member for the operations of AikBank in Serbia, Belgrade, where she steers the operational excellence across the banking operations, payments, treasury, logistics and real estate management, projects and organization.
