Ognjen Vlačina is currently appointed as Project Leader for Payments at INBAB (part of INGKA group) exploring marketplace payments and has a strong business acumen into Finance, Banking and Retail area.

Graduating from esteemed institutions such as Faculty of Economics in Belgrade, Serbia, and ACCA – Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business he recently reached milestone of 20 years of continuous and proven business experience in South-East Europe region and globally. Working on market expansion projects, payment set up & management, leading collaboration, negotiation and RFP’s with PSP’s, Banks, Card processors, Card acquirers and FinTech’s, give him a compacted and holistic foundation in broad payment ecosystem area and economy.

Specific field where he especially enjoys is dynamic world of (retail) Payments and he is keen to read, discuss, elaborate, and listen anything relevant in this interesting area in connection with different stakeholders (Banks, Fintech, Retail, Regulatory, Technology…).

He is also, community builder, starting with several enthusiasts Belgrade Payment meets up gathering. Occasionally he is writing journalist for regional portal BUKA (BiH) 6yka Magazin – Dajte šansu mozgu and writer & poet (ognjenvlacina.com).
