From working in the financial sector of the energy company in Germany, USA and Spain, through financial controlling in shipbuilding in Norway to the role of financial consultant for M&A in Serbia, Luka’s activities were always focused on financial processes. Through his work on the Serbian market, he had the opportunity to get acquainted with the problems of the domestic economy, especially small businesses and startups, caused by the lack of alternative sources of capital. Thus was born the idea to offer young companies an innovative financial service and thus solve, or at least mitigate, their funding problem.

As a result of these aspirations, the first Serbian crowdinvesting platform Ventu.rs was created and after over a year and a half since the launch of the Ventu.rs crowdinvesting platform, many conclusions have been made and useful lessons have been learned. Luka’s experience and expertise in the field of alternative finance in Serbia gained in the process is very unique.
