Marko Tepavac serves as the Head of the ICT Department at Banca Intesa AD Beograd, where he focuses on implementing the latest standards in IT governance and service management, continuously evolving the IT function within the banking sector. With over 18 years of banking experience and more than a decade of leading cross-functional teams, Marko brings a wealth of knowledge in developing and maintaining banking software solutions. His extensive background spans the full life cycle of software development, information systems, and databases. Since 2017, he has been responsible for creating and realizing ICT strategies, managing budgets, and overseeing significant projects, including the implementation of a new digital platform and the FlexCube core banking system. Before his current role, he held several key positions at ProCredit Bank Belgrade and Alpha Bank Belgrade, where he successfully led IT departments and spearheaded major projects such as the implementation of self-service zones and a new loan application system.
