A Vice-Governor’s View on the Future of Payments

We are honoured to welcome Dr. Zorica Kalezić, Vice-Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro, to Panel #2: The Future of Payments.

Dr. Kalezić oversees Financial Stability, Research and Statistics and Payment Systems – placing her at the centre of Montenegro’s financial infrastructure and payments transformation.

She serves as President of the National Committee for Payment Systems, National SEPA Coordinator, and Coordinator of the TIPS Clone Project.

After successfully leading the operational integration of Montenegrin banks into SEPA, she now coordinates the implementation of TIPS Clone, the domestic instant payments platform that will enable real-time euro payments and serve as the foundation for future overlay services such as QR payments, Request-to-Pay, NFC solutions, and broader digital payment innovation across the market.

She is also the Head of the Negotiating Working Group for Chapter 17 – Economic and Monetary Union in Montenegro’s EU accession negotiations.

Her perspective brings both strategic vision and real operational leadership to one of today’s most important topics – the future of payments.

👉 Join Dr. Kalezić live at Finticipate Vol.5 on 29/05!
